In 2004 I wasted money (which wasn’t the only year I wasted money because for 20 years prior and apparently for 6 years after I still can’t save a dime) on a website called “I Know Best” that I unfortunately never utilized because at the time I was homeless and my spare time was spent searching for a home. Plus the Chamaco who was gonna build the site for me flaked out once he learned I didn’t share his romantic feelings. So now with semi permanent housing and all the time in the world I’ve decided to share my thoughts, feelings, joys, and woes with the world or at least my readers.
One would think that writing basic information about oneself would be easy, sort of like going on a first date and giving your vital statistics to your new prey oops date. But with blogging it’s hardly similar to such an example. Ya see every Blogger has an “About Me” section where they tell either in detail or briefly about themselves and their experience. For my blog I’m gonna keep it simple. Which means neither brief nor detailed because believe me amigos I can talk. So simply simple is the best route to venture.
I am the descendent of gangsters and prostitutes who spawned an autoworker and the quintessential housewife. I am now reliving my misspent youth. I have always been VERY outspoken so holding my tongue has never been my forte nor has it been an aspiration (Freedom of Speech amigos). I am completely suburban born and raised, however urban Inner-city formed (ghetto even). I hated high school so I dropped out. I’m friendly and hardly shy. I’m self diagnosed as ADHD probably more H than the AD. I’m an SGI Buddhist. I’m a lover to some but only ever in love with one. A two time college graduate Big Ups to UNLV and George Washington University. Far too book smart to have made such horrible grades…
I am a survivor of a debilitating illness that required major surgery (thanks Dr.) Some say I’m very dizzy or goofy, while others claim I’m scatter brained – but isn’t that the same thing? I like being opinionated (overly even). I can swim like a fish and I have come to realize I am unbreakable. I’m rarely busy, however I despise lazy. Although I love to curse (a lot) when all is said and done I can conjugate a verb and spell most words without writing them first. I’m very creative and love to share my ideas with my amigos. I’m loving and lovable while being quite the romantic and NO I’m not a cougar I’m a Vet as in Veteran (ask mi Pápi).
I’m a former bartender as well as a former school teacher. A hater of all but 1 of my jobs (I never learned to keep that fact to myself because at times I’m a schemer) but since life costs money and I suck at pan handling I worked until I no longer could. But being an avid traveler I do aspire to pour spirits on the Caribbean where I currently live because I’m living my dreams.
